MINOT – The Central Cass Squirrels are back in the North Dakota State Class B girls basketball semifinals for a second straight year after defeating Hettinger/Scranton 58-43 on Thursday night.
Morgan Lee finished with a game-high 16 points and Decontee Smith added 13 points for Central Cass.
Samantha Oase finished with 15 points and 9 rebounds to lead the NightHawks.
Central Cass will play Carrington or Langdon Area/Edmore/Munich on Friday at 9 p.m. from the Minot State Dome.
Hettinger/Scranton will play in the consolation semifinals at 2:30 p.m. on Friday.
