MOORHEAD, Minn. (MSUM Athletics) — The Minnesota State University Moorhead men’s basketball team is ranked fifth in the latest NCAA Central Region rankings that were released on Wednesday. The top six teams in the region will advance to the NCAA tournament with automatic berths going to the winners of the NSIC and MIAA tournaments.
MSUM is fifth with a 10-4 record. Northwest Missouri State is ranked first followed by Northern State. The full rankings are listed below.
The Dragons are aiming for their first NCAA tournament appearance since the 2016-17 season. The NCAA men’s basketball selection show is set for 9:30 p.m. on Sunday.
