GROTON, S.D. (KFGO) – A 45-year-old man died Friday morning in a one-vehicle crash south of Groton.
A 2014 Jeep Compass was northbound on South Dakota Highway 37 when it left the roadway, entered the west ditch, and rolled. The driver, who was not wearing a seat belt, was pronounced dead at the scene. South Dakota’s Highway Patrol is investigating the crash. All information released so far is only preliminary.
The Highway Patrol is part of the South Dakota Department of Public Safety.
