Fargo man arrested after found passed out in his car

FARGO (KFGO) – Fargo police say an officer came across a 41-year-old man who was passed out behind the wheel of a running vehicle at about 5 a.m. Wed. He’s been identified as Danny Shelvin of Fargo.

An officer located an open container of alcohol and a sawed-off shotgun in the passengers’ seat as he approached the vehicle. He removed the shotgun from the unlocked car before waking Shelvin and taking him into custody. Asa convicted felon he is prohibited from possessing a firearm.

Shevlin was discovered in the car in the 2500 blk. of 8th St. N.
