WEST FARGO — The Fargo Shanley Deacons girls basketball team improved to 7-4 on the season with a 56-50 win over the West Fargo Sheyenne Mustangs on Tuesday night.
The Deacons were led by Emily Srejma who scored 17 points. Moriku Hakim was also instrumental in the win, scoring five points while grabbing 12 boards.
Alivia Manason paced the Mustangs with 15 points and five made three-pointers.
Shanley’s next game will be against the Fargo Davies Eagles at 7:15 p.m. on Friday.
The Mustangs, which fell to 6-5 on the season, will play their next game against the Wahpeton Huskies on Thursday at 7:30 p.m.
