GRAND FORKS, N.D. – North Dakota State edged out North Dakota in Summit League women’s basketball with a 71-68 overtime win from the Betty Engelstad Sioux Center.
NDSU senior forward Emily Dietz scored a team-high 18 points and grabbed 9 rebounds, while teammate Heaven Hamling added 14 points on 6-12 shooting from the floor.
Olivia Lane led all scorers with 20 points and grabbed 11 rebounds for UND.
The Bison won all three meetings in the regular season over the Fighting Hawks by a combined 14 points, with two of those games going to overtime.
