DICKINSON, N.D. (KFGO) – A rural Wheatland, North Dakota man has been arrested for a series of ATM thefts and attempted thefts in Cass, Barnes and Lamoure counties.
38-year-old Joshua McCleary was arrested in Dickinson, where he faces additional charges. In some cases, a tow chain was used to steal entire ATMs. Other times, the machines were broken into and cash was stolen.
McCleary is in the Southwest Multi-County Correctional Center on a warrant from Cass County along with felony theft and drug possession charges. Convenience stores, banks and a Fargo hotel were among the businesses hit.
