MOSCOW (Reuters) – Russia’s Foreign Ministry on Monday declared a Bulgarian diplomat persona non grata in a tit-for-tat move after the expulsion of a Russian diplomat by Sofia.
Bulgarian authorities earlier this month gave a Russian diplomat 72 hours to leave the country after prosecutors alleged he had been involved in espionage since 2017.
