BISMARCK (KFGO) – A complaint has been filed with the North Dakota Bar Association against Attorney General Wayne Stenehjem.
Darrell Dorgan of Bismarck, who filed the complaint, claims there was a misuse of state funds for political purposes by Stenehjem when he joined a lawsuit with 16-other state attorneys’ general seeking to overturn the outcome of the Presidential election. Stenehjem said earlier that the state incurred no cost in the case.
The complaint claims state funds were used for a “strictly partisan political matter.” A spokesperson for Stenehjem said the office has not yet seen the complaint.
