OMAHA – The University of North Dakota scored four goals in the opening period en route to an 8-2 win over Western Michigan from Baxter Arena on Sunday afternoon.
Six different Fighting Hawks scored a goal with Grant Mismash and Shane Pinto adding two goals apiece.
Former Fargo Davies standout Tyler Kleven scored his first career goal for UND in the second period.
