Mark Nisbet, longtime head of Xcel Energy in North Dakota retiring, Tony Grindberg hired as new Principal Manager

FARGO, N.D. (KFGO) – Mark Nisbet, Principal Manager for Xcel Energy in North Dakota for 18 years will retire on January 15th, 2021. Nisbet has been with Xcel Energy for 40 years, holding a number of positions.

With Nisbet’s retirement, the company has hired Tony Grindberg as the new principal manager, effective Thursday, December 3.

Grindberg is a former state senator and served one term as a Fargo city commissioner. Prior to joining Xcel Energy, Grindberg was Vice President for Workforce Affairs at North Dakota State College of Science in Fargo.
