FARGO – The Thompson Tommies moved to the semifinals with a 3-0 (25-12, 25-20, 25-20) win over the Flasher Bulldogs on Thursday morning from the Fargodome.
Thompson (22-1 overall) moved to their third semifinal round appearance in the last four years. The Tommies will play the winner of Langdon Area/Edmore/Munich and Kenamre at 4 p.m. on Friday.
Alexis Telehey had a match-high 18 kills while teammate MacKenzie Hughes added 21 assists, 13 digs and 10 kills.
Flasher (19-3 overall) heads to the consolation semifinals at 10 a.m. on Friday.
Tymber Boldt and Faith Marion had 9 kills each for the Bulldogs.
The lone loss for Thompson came against Langdon Area/Edmore Munich 3-1 on October 10th from Langdon.
