The Atlanta Falcons have went to a virtual practice day after they had a member of the organization test positive for COVID.
The Falcons have shut down their facility due to positive COVID-19 tests, sources confirm (@AdamSchefter first). Rookie DT Marlon Davidson went on the COVID-19 list yesterday, league is rechecking at least one more positive test.
Contact tracing is underway.

Per source, the Falcons had just one additional positive test (on top of DT Marlon Davidson’s test) that led to the decision to work virtually on Thursday. The positive was from Wednesday’s round of testing, and was to a non-player.
So, for now, team is acting out of caution.

Atlanta is coming off a roller coaster of a weekend. They fired head coach Dan Quinn and general manager Thomas Dimitroff on Sunday after dropping to 0-5 on the season.
Kickoff between the Vikings and Falcons was scheduled for noon on Sunday from U.S. Bank Stadium.
Minnesota has a bye on week 7 and the Falcons have their bye on week 10.
