The Lisbon Broncos jumped to the No. 2 ranking in the latest Class A high school football poll on Wednesday.
This comes after a 28-7 win over fifth-ranked Oakes. The Broncos host the Thompson Tommies on Friday.
No. 1 Langdon Area/Edmore/Munich has won 31 straight games following a 47-12 win over Westhope/Newburg/Glenburn.
In 9-man action, the No. 4 Linton-HMB Lions have three games in eight days.
The Lions will play at Mott-Regent/New England on Friday, followed by a road contest at Napoleon/G-S on Tuesday and then hosting Hettinger/Scranton on Friday, October 9.
