The Minnesota State High School League board voted to have a volleyball and football season this fall on Monday.

The volleyball vote passed 14-4, with the football vote passing 15-3. This comes a month and a half from the August 4th decision to play both sports during the spring. Neither sport will crown a state champion in any class this fall.
There will be high school volleyball this fall in Minnesota. League officials just passed a motion to start the season Sept. 28 with 10 days of practice.
