The Minnesota Gophers are predicted to finish second in the Big Ten West in 2020, behind the Wisconsin Badgers.
The annual Big Ten preseason media poll was released on Friday.
Minnesota is coming off a 11-2 record from 2019 and defeated Auburn 31-24 in the Outback Bowl.
The Gophers finished 7-2 in the Big Ten with losses against Iowa and Wisconsin.
