The Minnesota Vikings will be looking for another defensive tackle to fill the hole of Michael Pierce for the 2020 season.
Pierce announced that he will forgo the upcoming season due COVID-19 concerns.

Just talked with Michael Pierce, who flew to Minnesota to meet with Vikings officials and tell them his decision. Asthma has been an issue in his family, and he’s taken COVID seriously — said he hasn’t been in a restaurant since February. “It’s not an easy situation, he said.”

The news comes as veterans were set to report to training camp today.
Pierce recorded 151 tackles and 3.5 sacks in the past four years for the Baltimore Ravens.
The Vikings are scheduled to open the year against the Green Bay Packers on September 13.
