Many events are still taking place, but going virtual. This year’s North Dakota State University Central Grasslands Research Extension Center grassland, forage and livestock field day will be held virtually due to the COVID-19 pandemic. The CGREC is located near Streeter, North Dakota. Videos will be available beginning July 28.
Topics to be covered include growing cereal forages for hay, comparing the impacts of patch-burning, rotational and traditional grazing methods, as well figuring out what cattle are actually eating on the rangeland. Producers can log onto the NDSU Extension webpage for more information.
