On the final day of the Impact Softball League’s regular season, Central Cass proved they deserve the top seed heading into the playoffs with a commanding 18-7 victory over Northern Cass.
Central Cass jumped out to an early 3-0 lead in the top of the first and continued to build upon that lead every inning as they scored in each of the five innings played this evening.
Northern Cass struggled to get much going, but had some bright spots, Emily Anderson hit a 3-run home run in the bottom of the fifth.
Central Cass improves to a perfect 6-0 on the season while Northern Cass drops to 1-6, securing the 8th seed heading into Impact League playoffs which will be held July 7th and 14th in Hillsboro.
