FARGO, N.D. – With just over 3 weeks to go before the July 3rd season opener, the Fargo-Moorhead Redhawks introduced former player and current coach Chris Coste as the interim manager for the 2020 season.
“The interim label is what we worked out with Concordia,” said RedHawks President Brad Thom. “He knows independent baseball, he has a ton of connections with our players, he’s been in every situation under the sun.”
Coste, who is also the head coach at Concordia, played 3 seasons for the RedHawks before moving into affiliated baseball. He broke into the majors with the Phillies in 2006 and won a World Series in 2009.
The RedHawks will open their season July 3rd at home against Winnipeg. Games are heard all season long on 740 The Fan.
