WEST FARGO, ND (KFGO)- A Facebook post featuring video of a recent interaction between 2 West Fargo officers and a man has garnered some attention over the weekend and the police department has responded.
In a statement issued Sunday night the department says:
“The West Fargo Police Department is aware of the video circulating on social media. We will be conducting an internal investigation into the matter.
Once that investigation is complete we will release the results. At this time no direct complaint against any officer has been made to the West Fargo Police Department.
While the COVID-19 pandemic has closed our facilities to members of the public, core services for the City of West Fargo continue to be offered and staff members are available to serve you.”
