Brynn Niekirk and Julia Vetter are no longer on the team.
Niekirk was one of five players promoted for a season-ticket campaign and was the only volleyball player on the poster. UND football senior linebacker Jaxon Turner commented on the story earlier this week on Twitter.
Deleting the tweet will not silence me. There needs to be a solution for an issue this major on our campus. Let’s work together to fix this so it never happens again at UND. @UNDpresident @NorthDakotaAD pic.twitter.com/Hh1A7XZUVs

I take full responsibility and apologize for the situation with this marketing piece. Simply, I need to do better. I look forward to continue to work with our student-athletes to make our department better every day. https://t.co/6EGt8Ey4e1
