MOORHEAD, Minn. (KFGO) – The city of Moorhead has disclosed that employees of the fire department have tested positive for Covid-19 over the past week.
The city has not said how many employees tested positive, but says only one of the two stations is affected.
Upon receiving notification of the positive tests, contact was prohibited with other city employees and fire department staff and self-isolation was recommended under CDC guidelines.
When the pandemic was first identified, department staff were separated to lessen the chance of spreading the infection.
