Color Deficiency
In this podcast: Dr. Henry Wiley, a clinical researcher at the National Eye Institute, who studies color deficiencies joins Amy & JJ to discuss how we perceive color, detecting color deficiency, corrective lenses and the future of treatment.
Dr. Wiley says the most common color deficiencies are inherited. However, they can be acquired. And, it is common.
While color blindness, as a term, isn’t offensive, ‘color deficiency’ is more accurate.
