
WEST FARGO, ND (KFGO)- Bobcat has temporarily closed their Gwinner plant after an employee self reported a possible coronvirus case.
Starting with Friday’s second and third shifts, employees were asked to not come in so the company can implement a 24 hours shutdown for cleaning and sanitizing.
Doosan Bobcat public affairs director Stacey Breuer says the employee last worked Sunday in an isolated area of the building and their direct interaction was limited to just one other employee who’s also be asked to stay home. The employee showed no symptoms at work.
The North Dakota department of health has not confirmed a postivitve test for the employee.
Shifts are set to resume Saturday night. Bobcat recently reopend manufacturing Monday after a two week shutdown.
