FARGO (KFGO) – Union leaders say the Case-New Holland tractor manufacturing plant in Fargo will resume production May 5.
They’ve negotiated with the company, which will provide masks and other protective equipment and additional hand-washing stations. Work areas will also be sanitized and shifts and breaks will be staggered to reduce contact between employees.
International Association of Machinists Local 2525 President Nikki Bohn says workers are nervous about returning to the production line, but she’s comfortable with the company’s health-safety improvements.
CNH has almost 600 employees in Fargo.
