Disney knows just how to perk us up during this time of social distancing and isolation: an iconic treat from the most magical place in the world! And, since the parks are closed, they are releasing some of the recipes we’ve always wanted.
I guess now we will know if it’s the atmosphere that makes these treats so great – or if they can stand on their own.
Here are the dole whip, churro and chocolate chip cookie recipes:
Dole Whip
Let’s start with the most iconic of them all: Disney’s famous ‘Dole Whip’… this pineapple soft serve is one of the most talked about treats at Disneyland. And, with just three ingredients, it looks like an easy treat to try at home.
The Disney app “My Disney Experience” has published the recipe:
- 1 big scoop of ice cream (to make it authentic, you might want to find dairy free)
- 4 ounces of pineapple juice
- 2 cups of frozen pineapple
- Add pineapple, ice cream and juice into a blender.
- Start blending at low speed and increase to high speed. Blend until smooth.
- Use a piping bag with a star tip to create the classic swirl, or just scoop right into bowls!

Chocolate Chip Cookies
Since we have been scoring the internet for recipes, Disney fans have also unearthed a 2017 post on the Disney Parks blog with their chocolate chip cookie recipe!
We think the secret ingredient might be the powdered sugar!
