Mask Donations
Sanford Health of Fargo is asking for homemade mask donations. These masks will go to the ‘non-direct’ staff within the organization.
The recommended fabric: quilting cotton, denim, duck cloth or twill.
Donations
You can donate the masks to Sanford Healthcare Accessories – on the corner of i29 & 32nd Avenue in Fargo. You don’t even have to get out of your car! They are accepting donations anytime, Monday – Friday between 8am – 5pm and Saturdays from 9am – 1pm.
Additionally, if you have N95 masks you are not using, they would appreciate a donation of those as well.
Mask Reminders
The CDC is now recommending everyone wear a mask when in public. This does not take the place of social distancing and good hand washing.
Masks only work if you do not touch the mask and, when you get home, remove it by the strings or ties behind your ear and immediately put it in the wash. If you do touch the mask, immediately wash your hands thoroughly.
