Spreading Positivity
The current coronavirus pandemic has caused many challenges for communities and families. But it seems some neighbors are doing their part to brighten the mood.
With the rise in temperatures over the weekend, many were escaping their homes for some fresh air and a walk (or run) around their neighborhood. And, they were met with many finding ways to spread positivity.
Sidewalk Chalk Art
In one trend, people are using sidewalk chalk to create colorful works of art alongside positive messages.
Bear Hunt
And, while this trend might be for the younger kids, adults have been enjoying it as well! Neighbors are putting teddy bears in windows to encourage kids to go on a bear hunt!
It’s part of a book called “We’re Going on a Bear Hunt”… if you don’t have the book, there are several YouTube videos you can use!
A World of Hearts
Social media outlets are buzzing with people who are encouraging people to put hearts in their windows – or get outside and look for hearts in windows.
The rules are simple: cut the hearts from materials in your house, hang them in a window or on your door so people can see when they are walking by!
All of these things are easy to get involved with – enjoy them, get involved with them and keep spreading the light and positivity.
There is no one who isn’t impacted right now. We are all in this together.
