BERLIN (Reuters) – Germany’s engineering association expects the coronavirus outbreak to prompt a sharp drop in global machine sales in the first half of this year and a recovery forecast in the second half won’t be strong enough to compensate, it said on Friday.
This reality will translate into lower sales volumes this year compared to 2019, it added.
