MOORHEAD (KFGO) – A Clay County District Judge has scheduled a review hearing later this month for the superintendent of the Dilworth-Glyndon-Felton School District who pleaded guilty to drunken driving following his arrest in Moorhead.
Bryan Thygeson was stopped in early December. The officer said Thygeson didn’t come to a complete stop at an intersection where there were flashing red lights.
In a police report obtained by KFGO News, the officer said Thygeson smelled of alcohol, had bloodshot and watery eyes and a slur to his speech. He failed three field sobriety tests, was handcuffed and arrested. Because of a breathing issue and use of an inhaler, the jail would not accept Thygeson. His car was impounded and he was taken home. His blood-alcohol level was redacted from the police report.
Fines and court fees totaled $610.00. He was also ordered to complete a chemical assessment. Thygeson has declined comment.
