WASHINGTON, D.C. (KELO.com) — One of Fox News Channel’s most prominent talk show hosts…Tucker Carlson…lambasted the members of South Dakota’s legislature Friday night for not passing the kids transgender bill.
Carlson said, “South Dakota lawmakers had a chance to say no, to spare their children from this insanity, but they declined to do that.”
Carlson mocked the Chamber Of Commerce’s argument that the bill would have threatened South Dakota’s economic development.
HB1057 is a bill that would have made it illegal to perform gender transformation surgery or use puberty-blocking drugs on kids under the age of 16.
HB1057 passed in the House of Representatives 46 to 23, but it failed in the Senate Health and Human Services Committee, 5 to 2.
