Thursday, February 20, Senator John Hoeven will hold roundtable discussions with North Dakota agriculture leaders, commodity groups and producers to outline disaster assistance funding and trade aid in the morning and in the afternoon will hold a roundtable to highlight the Rural Export Council and his efforts to expand market research support.
The agriculture roundtable will encase discussion with commodity leaders and the senator will outline his work with USDA in disaster assistance and MFP payments for North Dakota producers.
The rural export council roundtable will be a discussion on the senator’s efforts to expand export opportunities for rural communities.
The agriculture roundtable will be at 10:30 am at AES Greenhouse – NDSU (1440 18th Street N Fargo) and rural export council roundtable at 1:30 pm Richard H. Barry Hall – NDSU Mezzanine Commons (811 2nd Avenue N Fargo).
