FARGO (KFGO) – The former majority leader of the North Dakota House says he’s a candidate for Cass County Commission.
Al Carlson of Fargo spent 26 years in the legislature and 10 years as Republican majority leader. He was defeated for re-election in 2018. Carlson says he believes he has a lot to offer given his experience in the legislature.
Former commissioner Ken Pawluk, who was appointed to serve out the remainder of Vern Bennett after he died last year, spent three terms on the commission and is also running for the seat that had been held by Bennett.
