Pastor David Juve from Fargo Elim joins IT2 to talk about the state of their residents, the building, the need and their future.
Missing Our Community
The good news is that after the fire last Thursday, all the Fargo Elim residents have been placed somewhere else, and the daycare will be reopening in a new location tomorrow! However, Pastor Juve says, “we are missing our community”.
The social workers and Pastor David Juve have been visiting Elim residents at their new locations to check on them emotionally and he says, “It seems like they are doing really well.”
It Pays To Be Prepared
“There wasn’t a sense of panic… there was a sense of intention,” says Pastor Juve. The staff had practiced for an event like this and everything went even better than they could have imagined.
How Can We Help
Unfortunately, they have not received clearance to go back into the facility to get any personal items or assess the damage. So, at this time, Pastor Juve says the best way to help is by financial donations.
