Who doesn’t like hotdish? If you’re looking to have a little fun, the
Veteran’s Honor Flight Hotdish Cook-Off
is where it’s at. Do you make the best Tator Tot hotdish? Do you think your tuna hotdish tops all others? Or maybe you have a spaghetti or taco hotdish recipe that was your mom or grandma’s? Well why not whip up your best hotdish and enter this fun contest!
If you don’t cook, you can always stop in and sample the hotdishes after the judging. And while you’re at it, buy some baked goods and do some bidding on the silent auction items. These folks work tirelessly throughout the year holding fundraiser after fundraiser so they can continue to send our Veterans to Washington, D.C. free of charge to tour the memorials dedicated to their service, the wars they fought and comrades they lost.
The event is Sunday, Jan. 26 at the Moorhead American Legion. Registration begins at 11am. Judging is at 2:30pm with awards to follow. The silent auction and bake sale is from 11am-3pm.
