WAHPETON, N.D. (KFGO) – Negligent homicide charges have been filed against a Wahpeton man who’s accused of killing his nephew.
Wahpeton Police were called Friday afternoon to an apartment. When officers arrived, they found the victim, 42 year-old Oscar Bynaum, in a bedroom.
Investigators say that Bynaum’s death was the result of “homicidal violence.” The complaint says that during a fight, 61 year-old James Bynaum placed his nephew in a choke hold.
Bynaum appeared in court Monday. He’s being held in the Richland County jail.
