For over 41 years, Louie Anderson has been tickling the funny bone of millions performing his unique style of stand-up comedy. From there, he has acted in scene stealing roles in movies such as ‘Coming to America’ as well as developing his own animated series based off of his own childhood in the upper Midwest.
Oh yeah, he is also a really nice guy.
It Takes Two with Amy and JJ was given the privilege of interviewing Louie and they knew immediately that the stories of how kind and considerate he is were absolutely true.
During their discussion, Louie talks about his love of the Midwest and the undeniably sweet sayings that his mother would whisper to nobody in particular. He lives in Las Vegas now, but shares his secret desire to see some snow…and then leave a day later!
Louie also gives an update on the future of his hit animated series “Life with Louie” – fans will, undoubtably, be excited to hear about a pending revival and how far along the plans already are.
Stand-up is his first love and the energy from the crowd feeds the need for continued shows. No two shows are the same and after 41 years, the joy is still as fresh as day one.
