Shots fired into Radisson, man arrested, officer injured in Fargo
FARGO (KFGO) – A Fargo man is in the Cass County Jail after his arrest in downtown Fargo Friday morning.
Police Chief Dave Todd says 54-year-old Henry Aiken fired a shot toward officers who responded to a report of a man with a gun just before 4:00 a.m. at the Radisson Hotel after Aiken crashed his car into Gate City Bank.

Aiken was pointing a revolver with a laser attached toward officers. Aiken fired a shot in the direction of the officers and additional shots into the lobby of the Radisson.
Todd says some hotel employees were in the lobby at the time. They locked themselves in an office while officers apprehended Aiken at gunpoint in the lobby.
As Sgt. Matt Ysteboe was preparing a rifle, the gun went off and Ysteboe shot himself in the hand. Todd says Ysteboe suffered a serious injury. He’s been with the department since late 2001. He was promoted to sergeant in September 2016.
