FARGO (KFGO) – Property Resources Group and PACES Lodging Corporation are partnering with a group of local investors on the design and construction of new golf entertainment facility, powered by Toptracer Range technology, in the northeast quadrant of I-29 and 52nd Ave. S.
The 10.5 acre property will include the 52,000 sq. ft. facility, 300-yard range, and ample parking leaving 25+ acres of the surrounding Timber Creek development available for sale or build-to-suit.
Toptracer Range is a subsidiary of TopGolf, and this will be the first facility to use the technology in NorthDakota.
The Toptracer Range ball tracing technology is currently used during PGA events and offers a videogame-influenced golf experience. The system uses high-speed cameras, coupled with sophisticated computer algorithms, to provide instantaneous ball tracking information to guests using the range. Developers say its focus is centered on providing a fun, affordable, and no-pressure experience to guests of all ages and skill levels. The facility will provide year-round entertainment and attract visitors.
Providing the project gets the necessary support from the community, construction on the new 50,000 sq. ft. stand-alone facility, which will house its own bar/restaurant in addition to the Toptracer Range, will begin in May 2020. Plans are to open by March 2021.
The new building will feature 60 climate-controlled hitting bays to allow for comfortable use year-round. The facility will be a social, entertainment and event venue with state-of-the-art practice areas including club fitting and golf instruction. Additionally, it will offer space for conferences, meetings, charity fundraisers, parties and corporate events.
