MINNEAPOLIS (KFGO) – The Minnesota Twins are bringing back the ‘Homer Hanky” for the Major League Baseball playoffs. They will be available before Monday’s home game at Target Field. The Twins open the American League Division Series Friday at the New York Yankees.
The pre-game begins at 5 p.m. on KFGO. First pitch scheduled for 6:07 p.m.
The Star Tribune first introduced the Homer Hanky during the 1987 run to the World Series. This year’s Minnesota Twins set a new single-season league record for home runs with 307 home runs.
