It Takes Two opens the phone lines and the text club to listeners who are seeking answers to pet questions. From what food to serve to dental health to end of life plans – Dr. Derine Winning offers professional advice for your furry four legged friends or slithering sidekicks.

IN THIS EPISODE:
We start this episode by talking about Blastomycosis, which
is an infection caused by a fungus. This time of the year, we see dogs getting this infection from interacting with moist ground (for example, in wet ditches). Can be found in both sexes, but male dogs are more prominent.
Signs are fever, depression, weight loss, draining skin lesions and some other symptoms. Treatment has evolved greatly over the years, but early detection and treatment are key. If you see the signs above, bring in your dog to see the vet as soon as possible.
Dr. Winning also takes questions about the feelings behind end of life choices, what type of dog you should seek out for apartment living and more!
