FARGO (KFGO) – A judge has set Oct. 7 as the date to re-sentence William Hoehn, the Fargo man who was convicted of helping cover up the death of 22-year-old Savanna Greywind.
Greywind bleed to death after Hoehn’s girlfriend cut her unborn daughter from her body more than two years ago. The girlfriend, Brooke Crews, pleaded guilty to murder-conspiracy and kidnapping and was sentenced to life in prison without the possibility of parole.
The state supreme court overturned Hoehn’s life sentence last month. The court ruled that the trial judge should not have declared him as a dangerous special offender based on his previous convictions.
Hoehn will be held in the Cass County Jail until he’s sentenced a second time. He’s in solitary confinement.
