VALLEY CITY, ND (KFGO) – A week after his disappearance, the search continues for a Valley City man.
40-year-old Mark Davies was last heard from when he was in Kathryn, about 20 miles south of Valley City.
Police Chief Phil Hatcher says ground and air searches have been conducted, but there’s been no sign of Davies or the black 1999 GMC Yukon that he was driving. “It’s like he disappeared from the face of the earth,” said Hatcher. The Yukon has North Dakota plates, 327 CCM.
The disappearance is considered suspicious. Friends say Davies left home without his dog, Hank, which is out of character for him.
A private plane and a state patrol aircraft have been used in the search. Anyone with information on Davies or his SUV should contact Valley City Police at 701-845-3110.
