Fall might not come to mind as the time of year when most people think about road trips, but with holidays like Thanksgiving and traveling for school events, the miles add up quickly.

Even weekend getaways are more enticing for families with lower gas prices. A 400 mile round trip in a weekend is common, especially when the savings are right there.
If gas stations don’t hit your pocket book too hard, economists also predict you are more likely to spend additional money on holiday gifts, groceries, etc.
Lower gas prices help fuel the economy and keep the tank full when it comes to consumer spending.
