Harry Rosenblum started his love of vinegar without actually indenting to star loving vinegar.
As a young college student, Harry would legally purchase all of the ingredients to brew beer and, well, brew beer with his college buddies. Nice way to skirt the law! Later on, he had trouble finding the beer ingredients so he switched to ciders and one fateful night he was transferring the cider into bottles when he ran out of bottles. The remaining liquid sat and chemically changed it’s way into some amazing tasting vinegar.

teaches you how to make vinegar in your own, use vinegar in all sorts of recipes and inspires a world of possibilities right inside your kitchen.
Homemade vinegars are always going to pack more flavor and punch, but Harry did mention that he does like a mass produced vinegar out of Europe that seems to be able to handle volume without sacrificing the quality.
The book features recipes for those who want to try the exotic – Pickled Smoked Pig’s Feet – or the more traditional – vinaigrettes and sauces. The Deviled Pickled Eggs (pickled in the remains of beet juice) are stellar. Pale purple color from the beets, the smokey taste of the yolk mixture combine to bring your holiday favorite from a 7 to a 10!
