Wayzata, MN – Perkins, the family restaurant chain with 50 Minnesota locations is filing for Chapter 11 bankruptcy for the second time since 2011, this time to facilitate the sale of the business. It also has a restaurant in Fargo. It’s Moorhead location closed earlier this year.
Analysts say the move will apparently end majority ownership of Perkins by Minnesota-based Wayzata Investment Partners.
Perkins recently closed restaurants in Bloomington and Minneapolis. It has been operating locations in 32 states.
