CAVALIER, N.D. – (KFGO) – The Pembina County Sheriff’s Office is releasing a sketch of the suspect involved in the assault on a resident in the Backoo area, northwest of Cavalier. Anyone who saw a man matching the description of the suspect should call the sheriff’s office at 701-265-4122.
The assault happened on the evening of July 25. The victim was attacked in their yard and did not recognize the attacker.
The assailant is a white male, 20-25 years old, roughly 5’ 5” tall, slender/skinny build, with curly bleach blonde hair, and blue eyes.
The victim was able to fight off their attacker and make it safely to their house without serious injury. The suspect then fled in an unknown direction.
