See It, Stream It or Skip It: The Lion King, From Earth to the Moon, Midsommar

Studios were scared away by the opening of Disney’s “The Lion King” live action remake, so no new Skip It this week – JJ just doubles down on how much he disliked Midsommar. The Stream It falls in line with the anniversary of the Apollo 11 mission that has captivated the country over the last week.

SEE IT – The Lion King

First off, this is the best Disney live action remake yet. Secondly, it is still animated, in my opinion. The technical marvel is amazing and the best CGI I have ever seen. Some of the songs could be better – but overall, this is just as good as the animated…even if it makes you pine for the original.

STREAM IT – From Earth to the Moon

This miniseries about the challenge to put a man on the moon is amazing. Full of history and the drama of the age – plus the performances are awesome. Anyone interested in HOW we got to the moon will find this HBO miniseries incredibly engaging.

SKIP IT – Midsommar

For the second week in a row…Midsommar is complete garbage…
