The New Life Center
Founded as the Glad Tidings Mission, the New Life Center has evolved from an organization that primarily conducted religious services and neighborhood outreach work to a Christian multi-faceted emergency and crisis service center.
Since 1907, they have been providing food, shelter and clothing to those in need. Fargo was just 36 years old when their mission started.
The New Life Center shelters single men and they feed and cloth men, women and children from our community. The New Life Center partners with 35 agencies to provide their clients with clothing (for free) from their thrift store.
Their thrift store is arguably one of the nicest in the area and is open to the public – to donate and purchase!
Hear more about their humble beginnings and mission in the podcast above with Executive Director Rob Swiers.
